Dropping in to keep things updated.

I'm finally getting some new equipment for work.
My new arrivals include:
Wacom tablet
Two new 22" monitors
Color laser printer

I've been begging for these for a little over two years now.
It's not that my employer is holding out on me, it's just a budget thing. Everything is frozen due to the economy semi-tanking.
Granted, it doesn't sound like my company is hurting. We are, considering it took me a bit of time to get these items.
Then again, this is me NOT complaining. I'm extremely blessed and fortunate to have gainful employment.
I'm just celebrating a minor victory in a major way.

When I received my new equipment, I was like a kid in a candy store who was just given a ten dollar bill and told to go and enjoy.
My boss is very good at getting us what we need to do our jobs effectively. Not many people can say that about theirs.
Again, blessed and fortunate.


Anyway, time for a project update:

Working on more coloring jobs for a friend and his collection of OC's.
Working on a brand new OC of my own. It's still in sketch form right now.
Going to do some holiday ad graphics for a client.
Will be working on a baby announcement for some friends.

I may decide to share those things. After all, I'm not just a character and fan art guy.
